Who we are
Npasal runs Npasal and is responsible for your personal information under the Individual Privacy Act 2075 and other Nepali law. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
Your mobile number (to log you in and send order SMS), name, delivery address and optional map location, orders, payments (we receive the result from the payment provider, never your card or wallet PIN), messages with shops, reviews, questions, and basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) for security and to improve Npasal. Shops give us business, PAN and payout details.
Why we use it
To run your account and orders, pass the details a shop or courier needs to deliver, process payments and refunds, send updates you asked for, prevent fraud and abuse, keep records the law requires (for example tax and consumer-protection records), and improve Npasal. We send offers only if you choose to receive them.
Who sees it
Shops see your name and delivery details only for your orders, and never your phone number before you order. Couriers see what they need to deliver. Payment providers process payments. Our SMS service sends texts. We may share information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and your browser
Essential cookies keep you logged in, remember your language and protect forms. Two optional cookies remember the last ad or creator link you clicked so the right shop or creator is credited; choose “Only essential” on the cookie notice to turn them off. Your cart, recently viewed items and searches are kept in your own browser.
How long we keep it
Order, payment and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually several years). Messages and other data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to personal data, and remove location data from uploaded photos.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. We reply within 30 days. Some records must be kept by law even after you close your account.
